Location services

Some locations require you to provide a valid location before allowing you to check in. When checking into a location like this, your web browser will prompt you to provide your location. You must choose to share your location and the process will be completed.

Check in prompt

For iOS

  • You will be prompted with a message like: welcome.nirovision.com would like to use your current location"
  • Select Allow

For Android

  • You will be prompted with a message like: "welcome.nirovision.com wants to use your device’s location"
  • Select Allow

Troubleshooting

If you are not prompted to provide your location and see a page titled STOP, it may be because you have not enabled Location Services on your page.

For iOS

  • Open the Settings app and visit Privacy & Security > Location Services
  • Ensure Location Services is enabled
  • Scroll down to find your browser application (typically Safari or Chrome)
  • Ensure the While Using the App option is selected, and Precise Location is enabled

For Android

  • Open the Settings app and visit Location
  • Ensure Use location is enabled
  • Scroll down the list to find your browser application (typically Chrome)
  • Ensure the location permissions are set to Allow only while using the app and that Use precise location is enabled.

For Chrome users:

  • Visit Chrome > Settings > Site Settings > Location
  • Ensure Location is enabled
  • Ensure that welcome.nirovision.com is not in the Blocked list. If it is, tap the item and choose Allow.
